Trail Activity. Snowshoeing Walking Hiking. Sandy River Plt. Description Beginning from the trailhead, the trail climbs very gradually along a dirt path. Current Weather November 14, Nearby Events. Approximately 1 mile in length. It's got something for everyone!

The location is awesome, across the street from The Puritan Restaurant. Did I mention the Puritan has a take out ice cream window! Back to Livingston It's a great shaded path to walk or run on, with 6 or so wooden bridges and markers every tenth of a mile. I go there to run to get off the hot sunny streets. The shade helps a lot.

My only complaint is that they don't have water fountains or bathrooms available for the guests. In the winter it's also a neat place to go to snowshoe! Check it out, you'll fall in love with the place! We were not disappointed. This is a real gem for the city. The children's play ground area is the best we have seen anywhere! And it is completely in the shade! Clean, big and something for everyone. Would come back for a walk around the lake when it is not so hot!

Great walking trails. Kids enjoyed some time on the playground. Nature all around. Livingston Park is the solution! Granted, its not "central"-ly located, but rather on the northern end of city near Hooksett. Barry Bernard C. Mullen Francis P. Lally Gerald R. Helmich Herman F. Little J. Roger Raymond John J.
