Why does kaname kill shizuka

Kaname is in love with yuuki, So he tried to kill rido, his master But since he couldn't 'cause he is a mere servent to rido, he could never kill him. So, the "kaname" now is just pretending to be yuuki's brother. Kaname wishes that rido hasn't sacraficed the baby to revive him. So, i guess zero is the only one who know's that kaname isn't really heyyuki's brother. Shizuka Kubota was born in Shizuka Yamamoto was born in Shizuka Gozen died in Shizuka Gozen was born in Shizuka Arakawa is 5' 6".

Shizuka Okohira is cm. Shizuka Nakamura is cm. Yuki does go off with Kaname because Zero thretans to kill her otherwise. Yuki still wants to see Zero, but is unable because Kaname refuses.

So, yes, Yuki does leave Zero. For Season One of Vampire Knight:The story starts out when Yuuki is just a young girl and she is in the middle of a snowstorm and a "bad" vampire as she puts it, comes to try to eat her, thus frightening Young Yuuki and her savior Which happens to be Kaname , kills the "bad" vampire and Yuuki--Being young--takes his hand.

Fast forward 10 years, Yuuki is now 15 years old and she and her friend, Zero Kiryuu are the "Prefects"-which is just an alias for their real roles as Guardians for the Night Class, whom are all vampire's lead by one single pure-blood amongst their rank and that pure-blood is Kaname Kuran.

That's just the first episode Then later in the episodes around 9-ish , Zero's twin brother, Ichiru appears as the bodyguard for Shizuka's body until Shizuka can regain enough strength. Eventually, Shizuka wakes up and lures Yuuki in to keep her part of the bargain. Zero interrupts and tries to kill her, but fails. This entire season is based on Zero getting his revenge on Shizuka, but he doesn't due to Kaname getting to her first.

The Second Season: This season is based on getting back Yuuki's memories and protecting her from Kaname's resurrection bringer, Kuran Rido, whose son happens to be Senri Shiki. This all leads up to the final battle where Zero kills Rido to save Yuuki from a horrible destiny.

Kaname is Yuuki's brother. Anyway, after Shizuka lost him, she also lost her will to live. When she laid on the floor dying, she looked the most peaceful she had ever been. Later on, Maria mistakenly thinking it was Zero who killed her also commented that Shizuka probably wanted Zero to kill her.

I wonder if anyone truly understood her. I love this character partly because I feel so bad for her. While Zero suffered early on, he eventually got to marry the girl he loved and had a daughter with her. Kaname also got to be with Yuki, had a daughter with her and got to meet both daughters and experience being with family when he was revived.

But Shizuka…her whole life was a tragedy, and the only time she was happy was that brief period when she was with her lover. However, the time she spend with him was a tiny drop, almost nothing compared to how long her life was overall. A lot of characters in VK had sadness in their lives, but her life struck me as the worst. If I had to pick someone to be in VK, it would definitely not be her. IMO, her life was screwed the moment she got engaged to Rido. If fate had been kinder to her, she would not have become a villain at all.

Other reasons I love her are because of how beautiful and elegant she is, how she has an air of mystery and sadness, and how her story just interested me the most. This is not meant to convince people to like her, but to explain why I personally love her. If you ever read this long post, Hazel, now you know why she is my favorite character. That was really well put!

I love how you describe her story; it really makes you appreciate her as a character and individual. I definitely agree with most of this post. One of the things that always bothered me was how Hino seemed to disregard Shizuka after her death. Purebloods are intreresting creatures, and out of all of them I think the kuruizakihime comes in the top tier list imo.

Anyways, sorry for going on a tangent, really love your analysis! Aaaaah I love them both. They are so Zero is frozen by his master's voice and begins to obey her commands to hold Yuki. Shizuka then drinks from Zero again as punishment. As she goes to drink from Yuki, Zero stops her, grabbing Shizuka's throat, he shoots himself in the leg to break free of her control and refuses to let Shizuka take any more from him and manages to shoot Shizuka. Shizuka laughs as Yuki tries to hold Zero back.

Zero moves to attack her again and is stopped by her bodyguard, whom Zero realizes is his twin Ichiru. Shizuka leaves during the distraction to recover from her wounds. Shizuka is annoyed to find Kaname in her room. Kaname, who notes the bullets have slowed her ability to heal. Shizuka wants to know why he is at the school, Kaname admits he's gathering his pieces and that he would have done the same as Shizuka as he plunges his hand through her chest causing a wound she cannot heal from.

Shizuka admits she was thinking of using Yuki to kill Kaname and Kaname agrees that would have been wise, she admits that Yuki would have died and it was either Shizuka or Yuki and Kaname takes her life and blood in order to protect Yuki. He leaves a small amount for Zero to drink, but the blood is drunk by Ichiru instead, who arrived to find Shizuka first. Before dying, Shizuka warns Kaname that he will live in darkness and has summoned a sinister future for himself by drinking the blood of another Pureblood.

In the anime, she tells Ichiru to devour her so that she will always be a part of him, then she slowly disperses into glittering-substances and proceeds to shatter. It is revealed that she deeply respected him and was quite fond of him, thus reluctant to bite him, as she refuses to let someone she cares be cursed like that.

Zero learns from Sara Shirabuki that Kaname was the one who freed Shizuka from her cage and demands to know Kaname's reasons, who claimed it was to have Shizuka take her revenge, specifically to kill a certain pair of hunters to ensure their twin children would seek the elimination of all Pureblood vampires.

Aside from immortality and healing from all wounds except anti-vampire weapon wounds to the heart and the head, Shizuka has the ability to manipulate plants which explains why cherry blossoms fall when Shizuka appears.

She could also possess the bodies of other vampires like Rido Kuran , resulting in obtaining their powers, such as using Maria's body to see through the eyes of birds. She was also a very capable fighter as she was able to kill Zero Kiryu and Ichiru Kiryu 's parents , who were known to be the world greatest hunters of all time. Shizuka was originally Rido's fiance, but she held strong feelings of hatred for him it was later revealed that she wanted more power to kill him herself.

Later in the manga, when Rido spoke of her death, he mentioned that it was a relief, and that when alive, she had refused to "submit to" him. They never married due to Rido's disappearance and finally her death. It was later found out that some of her hate was targeted at him as he was the mastermind who deliberately organized for her "lover's" name to be put on the list of Level E vampires to be killed despite the fact that he hadn't fallen into that state yet. He leaves, but Yuki follows resulting a small fight between the two.

Kaname headed to the place where Sara is after Ruka created an illusion for Yuki to distract her and afterwards Yuki faints. With Yuki unconscious, he leaves to find Sara.

Zero goes to fight Kaname with his Bloody Rose. After a heated battle between the two vampires, they end up plummeting from a window in the room and fall under Yuki, Ruka, and Akatsuki.

When he tries to attack Zero, Ruka gets in the way and protects Zero from him. Ruka grievously injured and a furious Akatsuki attacks Kaname with a fireball, saying that unlike Ruka, he won't forgive the Pureblood as easily.

Ruka begs for Akatsuki to stop but Kaname tells her that her relationship with him is no more. Several of the Vampire Hunters attempt to capture Kaname but he escapes. Yuki and Zero follow Kaname and along the way and engage in another fight.

Yuki questions Kaname whether it was really the Ancestress's intention for all Purebloods to die adding it's not right for Purebloods like Kaname to be arrogant and that neither her or the Ancestress wanted things to end up in chaos.
